Obtain replacement part
The imaging drum, also known as PC Kit or photoconductor, is a consumable part and must be replaced every 30,000 pages.
As the part is consumable, like toner cartridges, replacements must be purchased and are not eligible for warranty replacement
for the end of life messages.

When the drum is close to ending of life 17xx and 22xx printers will blink the low toner indicator light,
23xx and 33xx printers will display the message Replace PC Kit Soon. The printer should continue to function normally.

When the drum is fully at end of life the 17xx and 22xx printers will blink the toner low and error lights, 23xx and 33xx will display
the message Replace PC Kit. The printer will no longer function until the drum is replaced and counter reset.

Replacement drums can be purchased from the Dell website.
Fit replacement part
To replace the imaging drum:
1 Remove any packing material from the replacement drum.
2 Open the printer front door by pressing the button on the side of the printer chassis. For 17xx and 3335 printers, the button
is on the left, for 22xx, 23xx and 3300 printers the button is on the right.
3 Pull on the blue handle to remove the toner cartridge and imaging drum together.
4 Press the button on the imaging drum frame to separate the toner and drum.
5 Fit the existing toner cartridge into the new drum.
6 Fit the assembled toner and drum to the printer, close the front door
